The library tries to meet the needs of the community through book and audio selection, computer and wifi availability, program opportunities, and meeting room options. However, it is impossible to be all things to all people. If the library does not have a book that you need available in either paper format, ebook, CD or downloadable audio, it might be possible to borrow the book from another library. This service is called interlibrary loan or ILL. The process takes time as the request is sent first to the closest libraries that own the book and moves down the list and further away until a library with an available book responds that they can supply the item. Then the item is mailed which adds to the wait time. Sometimes an item cannot be supplied within the time frame in which it is needed.
